The algorithm

How Sushi points work

Quests are the floor. Clip score grows with views and engagement.

  1. 8 ★ per 1K views, plus 28 × log10(1 + views) — the first thousand hits harder than the millionth.
  2. Likes × 0.45 · comments × 1.8 · shares × 2.5 · watch-through × views × 0.004
  3. Then × engagement rate (0.8–1.8×) from (likes + comments + shares) ÷ views.
  4. Then × platform (YouTube 1.25× · TikTok 1.15× · IG 1.1× · X 1×) × campaign (Shelbie Launch 1.35× · Intro 1.2× · Daily 1.1×).

Example: 1K TikTok views, 50 likes, 8 comments, 5 shares, 25% watch on Shelbie Launch ≈ 260 ★.
